Criminology, probation and stuff

Some musings on criminology with a focus on probation

These are some of my friends making a political statement about the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008, section 76 which bans people from taking photos of the police.

This line is my favourite:

The law, creates an uproar,
the uproar justifies the law,

And it reminds me of another classic line which I used in my MSc dissertation from the Kaiser Chiefs:

We are the angry mob
We read the papers everyday day
We like who like
We hate who we hate
But we’re also easily swayed

Popular music making political statements about populism!
